Anthony Carl Thomas peacefully went home, concluding his journey on this earthly plane.
Born to Joseph and Elizabeth Thomas of Annapolis, MD, Anthony was a devoted son, brother, father, grandfather, and friend. He leaves behind his beloved son, Karlton Thomas, and cherished grandchildren, Myles and Ameenah Thomas, with another grandchild soon to be welcomed into the world. He also leaves to mourn his siblings JoAnn, Michael, and Joseph Thomas, as well as his sister, Sonya T. Hart and brother-in-law Kevin Hart. His memory will be held dearly by a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Anthony began his career at the Social Security Administration at just 17 years old. He was also a skilled carpenter, a craft lovingly passed down by his father. In turn, he shared this invaluable trade with his brothers, ensuring they had a lifelong skill. Anthony’s generosity and selflessness knew no bounds—he played a pivotal role in relocating his family from South Baltimore to Northwest Baltimore, driven by his deep desire for a better life for his mother and siblings.
To know Anthony was to know kindness, warmth, and an ever-present, radiant smile. He was a giver at heart, always putting others before himself.
Anthony, knowing you are at peace brings some comfort, but it does not make saying goodbye any easier. "See you later" feels like an understatement—you will be missed beyond words.
Always and forever, with love—your family.
