Horniman Chikka Orjisson, son of the late Alice and M. O. Orji, was born on February 19, 1967 in Lagos, Nigeria. Horniman had many talents, besides English and Igbo, he spoke a little Portuguese, French, and Dutch.

His boisterous voice rang throughout the house from early morning to late night.
Horniman protected his home and all inside, checking every window and door daily. He worked diligently in the yard and in the house to create a wonderful home for his wife. Horniman’s love for gardening showed as he planted everything under the sun. He took great pride in his pots of beautiful roses planted just so his "wifey" could enjoy them every day.
