A Beautiful Smile At Rest
Jack Jerude Hyman
Our Joy: September 16, 1981
His Reward: November 13, 2025
Jack Jerude Hyman was the son of Bevely Brown-Tate and Jack Thomas Hyman. Jack was born in Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland on September 16, 1981, and departed his life on November 13, 2025, at the University Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland.
He attended Harford Heights and Leith Walk Elementary School and Lake Clifton Schools in Baltimore. Later he continued his education to become a master chef while employed at Johns Hopkins University Campus, Elkridge Country Club on Charles Street, Greenspring Country Club in Pikesville and Georges Restaurant on Mount Vernon perfecting his culinary skills.
Jack was baptized at Ray of Hope Baptist Church and later became a devoted member of Zion Hill Baptist. Jack just loved the Lord. He knew and lived for God. His faith was the heartbeat of his life. You could often hear Jack lifting his voice singing his praises with everything in him worshiping God with a joy and power that filled the room. His love for the Lord was pure, loud and unshakable,
Fashionista—that was Jacks style -- from head to toe -- the kind of look defined by those mesmerizing eyes, sparkling jewelry a CERnd the perfectly matched outfits. He had skin that glistened like a spotlight and it lit up the room!!!
His greatest love was for his nieces, nephews and cousins, especially Bernard and Bryan, whom he called his boys who he helped raise. He always introduced his brother Sean as “my baby brother Sean”
Jack was full of love and life and revealed many sides -- just pick one and you would never have been disappointed. Smart, flashy, beautiful, funny -- you name it --he was the life in the room.
A Mother’s Love-Forever
My Sweet JJ, death has not taken you from me. You only stepped into another room, a quite gentle place just beyond my sight, you are still you and i am still your mother. The truth will never change. I speak your name with Love; the same love I wrapped around you from the moment I first held you. No shadow, no sorrow in the sound, only warmth of every memory, every smile, every moment you blessed my life. Your life means everything it ever meant. You still mean everything to me. Nothing –not time not distance not death can take that away. What is death but a doorway, Jack? Why would my heart believe you are gone when your presence still lives in every part of me? Nothing is lost between us, not your laughter, not your spirit, not the bond that made us mother and child forever. One day --my precious child -- in a single breath I will find you again. Until that beautiful moment you live in every beat of my heart . My Forever Love My Forever JJ.
Jack leaves to mourn: his mother Beverly, father Jack, sister Teaira , brother, Sean ( preceded in death brother Bernard and Brandon),step father Tate, loving and devoted aunt Lena and Liz special cousin Larry that he called his big brother, two life devoted friends Darrow and Ashley, grandmother Catherine and Lucy Bell that preceded in death.
