Ronnae Muse Obituary

Ronnae Eugenia Muse, daughter of the late Pastor Ronald Muse and Margaret Griffin was born in
Baltimore, Maryland on January 22, 1976. Ronnae suddenly entered into her eternal rest on Tuesday,
September 6, 2022.

Ronnae received her education in the Baltimore City Public School system. She graduated from Dunbar
High School with a concentration in Health Clusters/Nursing curriculum. She earned her Medical
Assistant certification from TESST College of Technology, and was a member of the National Allied
Health Test Registry (NAHTR). She also attended the Automation Academy of Nursing and received her
certification as a Geriatric Nurse. Ronnae was employed for a period of time at the Pikesville Nursing
Home and was certified in Clinical Studies. She provided private duty care at various assisted living
facilities in Baltimore City and surrounding counties.

Ronnae was married to Randy Jordan and from that union, they had a son, Darrius.
As a teenager, Ronnae was baptized and accepted the Lord, Jesus Christ as her personal savior. Although
she did not join, she chose to attend Kingdom Worship Center at its Towson location. She was proud to
be one of the recipients of Trophy of Life’s Celebration of Survival ceremony, at which time, she gave a
speech relating to her personal survival after experiencing deep sorrow over giving birth to a stillborn
son. To find some solace of peace, she would often write about her feelings and struggles in her journal.
Ronnae (affectionately called ‘Peeches’), was a very soft-hearted and loving person. She possessed a
natural compassion for the weak and the elderly. She was known to invite the homeless and those
individuals who were rejected by their families to feast at her home for Thanksgiving dinner. Her
neighbors joined the family in a candlelight vigil and expressed how much they loved and will miss her.
Ronnae was a joy to be around. However, you had to make an appointment if you wanted to visit her.
She didn’t particularly care for people coming to her house unannounced. However, she was filled with
love and it was displayed in her kind smile. But, if you got on her “bad side”, well…now..., that would a
different story. (smile). She often talked about her desire and dreams to have a better life for herself
and her children. She would say,” I’m trying”. “God knows my heart.”
Now she is at peace, no more struggles, troubles, or pain.

Ronnae was preceded in death by her father, Rev. Ronald Muse, and grandmother, Gloria Watson.
Ronnae leaves to cherish her memory, her Mother, Margaret Jackson, one sister, Nicole Whalen (Andre,
Sr.); three sons, Devonte, Darrius, and Gerald; three daughters, Chaunae, Tymiah, and Aniyah. Two
grandchildren, Nova and Mariana. One nephew, Andre, Jr. and one niece, Angel. Step-Father, Donnie
Jackson, Step-Grandparents, William and Josephine Jackson. One longtime companion, Gerald Smith,
Sr. and a host of cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.
