Ronnie McDonald Wilkes affectionately known as Ronnie Blue was born March 15, 1947 to the late Morris and Annie Wilkes in Baltimore Maryland. He went to his eternal home on Sunday March 22, 2020.

Ronnie Blue was educated in the Baltimore City School System where he graduated. He also worked several jobs: helping his Uncle Willie at the horse stable, construction, managing a car wash and other business ventures. He was well-known and loved throughout Baltimore City.

He was the oldest son of 8 children; preceded in death by 2 sisters Brenda and Pam and 3 brothers  Michael, Harold and Maurice. He is survived by 2 sisters Elzenia and Olivia Wilkes. Ronnie was married to Virginia Wilkes and from that union they had two children the late Ronnie Wilkes Jr and Stephen Wilkes Sr., 5 grandchildren Jasmine, Brae, Raven, Brittney and Stephen Jr. and 2 great grandchildren Brae and Kai. Ronnie was also father figure to his nephews Lamont, Montrel, Lawrence and Raynard. He  also   has a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
