On Thursday, April 20, 2023, Sarita Pierre was called back home to be with God. Before she was called upon, she spent many years making her mark on this world.
Sarita, who some may have known as “Rita”, was born on July 22, 1980 to mother Beverly Pierre. During her life she gave birth to eight children, Dai, Iana, Asheantey, Giohnah, Brouke, Clinton, Aubrielle, and Kehlani. She also was given the gift of a grandson, Kevin. These are the people she dedicated her life to. She made it her purpose to make sure not only were they provided for and safe, but also loved unconditionally and truly happy above all.
Sarita was a believer, a fighter, and a healer. But she was also an incredibly altruistic, rare, and spirited person. She did her best, and when she messed up she owned it. When you felt like you had no one she had this way of making you feel important. She told you what you needed to hear even if it wasn’t what you wanted to hear. She took all the hardships and misfortunes life gave her and used it to learn and better herself. She grew so much. She loved deeply and protected those she loved with everything she had. Sarita knew and connected with many people from many different paths of life. She touched hearts and moved spirits. She wanted to fill the world with love and positivity, and she made sure she did that before her time came.
She is now able to rest with her late brother Kevin Pierre, who she grew with and loved immensely. Along with her mother Beverly, eight children and grandchild, her memory will live on through her beloved family including brother Michael Pierre, aunts Vanessa Williams and Laura Pierre, uncles Mitchell Pierre, William Harrington and Carl Williams, nieces Michaun, Monica and Marley, and Nephew Michael, along with many other cherished relatives and friends.
